About Founder Jean Seguin
Jean Seguin is a real estate expert and a former restaurant owner based in Vancouver. He started as an investor in 2001, and in 2004 became the owner and restaurateur of the local favorite establishment, Smoking Dog Bistro. Jean’s French bistro operated for quite a time within the lower Kitsilano region, until he chose to sell his business in November, 2010. After selling the restaurant, Jean went back to his first career and got involved with real estate operating in the Vancouver, B.C. area.
Jean’s success with real estate can be attributed to not only his experience, but also to his love for building relationships with customers. His time spent as a restaurateur allowed him opportunities to listen to and immediately provide for his demanding clients; these traits carried over to his role as a REALTOR. That he has experience in selling real estate other than commercial property makes him a very versatile adviser in all things realty.
In addition to his considerable real estate knowledge, Jean is also a digital marketing expert. He owns socialtrendz.ca, a firm that provides Internet marketing services. His familiarity with online promotions helps him sell properties on the Web, be their houses or restaurants.
